Production Planner

Our client is a food manufacturer who are looking to appoint a production planner to join an exciting team. We are seeking a talented and detail-orientated production planner to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity. * Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and ingredients. * Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines and resolve any issues that arise. * Work closely with the quality control team to ensure all products meet regulatory standards and customer specifications. * Analyse production data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. * Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of finished goods. * Maintain accurate records of production schedules, materials usage, and finished goods inventory. * Support the development and implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize production processes.
