Maintenance Engineer

An opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our friendly and supportive team.

The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment in a food manufacturing environment.

Description

• Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimise downtime
• Diagnose and repair faults in machinery
• Work with production teams to optimise performance and food safety
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during maintenance activities
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, activities, including work completed

Profile

• Experience in a similar maintenance role in a maufacturing industry
• Diagnostic and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulaions in a manufacturing environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
