Our client, a leading engineering company with a share in the global market who due to continued success and exciting growth plans over the next 18 months are seeking to recruit an experienced Design Engineer to join their well-established team in the Omagh area.

Main Responsibilities:

• You will be creating engineer designs throughout- concept, design, and installation
• Checking and approving technical drawings using design processes, procedures, and checklists
• Liaising with the design team and Engineer Manager regularly to ensure effective communication
• Producing project reports and other information as required by the management team
• Managing design projects and developing new products
• Supporting the sales team with technical specifications
• Resolve design quality issues by managing the design and providing detailed solutions
• Comply with company policies and procedures

The successful candidate must have:

• Relevant Degree or equivalent 3rd level qualification in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2+ years within a machinery and/or manufacturing role
• Strong 3D CAD modelling capabilities
• Knowledge of hydraulic design and schematics
• Ability to work in a team
• Excellent communication both written and verbal
• Strong IT Skills
