A well-established manufacturing business is strengthening its engineering team in Stowmarket, and they're hiring a Maintenance Engineer to support production across a 24/7 operation.
This Maintenance Engineer position sits within a large site, and perfect for individuals who enjoy fault finding, improving equipment, and working on varied plant equipment as part of an everyday role
Key Responsibilities:
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Supporting engineering improvements and modifications
- Breakdown response across production equipment
- Working as part of a shift team
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Strong multi-skilled background with an electrical bias.
- Experience in FMCG / manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of PUWER, Electricity at Work, COSHH, and related regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
