Up to £57,750 DOE + Overtime (1.25x) + 22.5 Days Holiday Including Bank Holidays + Pension + Christmas Bonus
4 On 4 Off 12:00 to 24:00
Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established fresh food producer with a company history of over 75 years who supplies into leading retailers. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding business who can offer longevity and security.
The successful candidate will be a level 3 qualified engineer (or equivalent) and will have experience working within a manufacturing environment and candidates from any sector are encouraged to apply.
Joining an expanding engineering team, the successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs to packaging equipment, including working with conveyors, PLCs, weighers, wrappers etc. The role is predominantly reacting to breakdowns and carrying out repairs and the company are looking to introduce a PPM schedule.
The Maintenance Engineer Role:
Electrical and Mechanical maintenance
Working on automated food packaging equipment
4 on 4 off shift pattern 12:00 to 24:00, occasionally 7am-7pm during busy periods
No call out
The Maintenance Engineer Candidate:
Multiskilled maintenance engineer
Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) within engineering
Any manufacturing background
