Private Client Paralegal
Location: Marlborough, Wiltshire
Salary: £35-45K plus excellent benefits package
About the Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client Paralegal to support high-quality work across wills, probate, trusts, estate administration, and lasting powers of attorney, while developing your career within a supportive and collegiate environment.
Key Requirements
You will be an experienced Private Client Paralegal with at least 12 months’ experience preferred, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to support client matters professionally and empathetically.
You will ideally bring:
• Previous experience in Private Client law
• Good understanding of wills, probate, trusts, and LPAs
• Confident drafting standard legal documents
• Experience liaising with clients, courts, HMRC, the Probate Registry, and third parties
• Strong administration, file management, and deadline management skills
• Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office
• Experience with farming, rural, or high-net-worth clients would be highly desirable
• Progression toward CILEX, STEP, or equivalent would be advantageous
Role & Responsibilities
• Assisting with the drafting of wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney
• Preparing probate applications and supporting estate administration
• Conducting legal research and preparing supporting documentation
• Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, HMRC, and the Probate Registry
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records
• Managing straightforward matters under supervision
• Supporting solicitors and partners on more complex private client cases
• Ensuring high standards of client care and professional compliance
