The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and growing aerospace manufacturing group, is seeking a Technical Quality Engineer (TQA) to join their central quality function. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a global, high-impact role, supporting multiple international sites while working 100% remotely.
You will act as the technical quality expert, driving best practice, supporting audits and approvals, and influencing quality performance across the business.

The Role
- Act as the go-to technical expert for complex quality and engineering queries
- Support the rollout and standardisation of APQP across multiple sites
- Assist in maintaining and achieving NADCAP and customer approvals
- Conduct internal audits and support audit readiness activities
- Drive continuous improvement and corrective actions using structured methodologies
- Provide guidance on GD&T, CMM strategies, and inspection processes
- Support NPI and transfer of work (ToW) projects
- Collaborate closely with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Inspection teams globally
About You
- A strong background in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience within a highly regulated environment (ideally aerospace)
- Hands-on experience with APQP and quality planning tools
- Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO9001 standards
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience with machining, sheet metal, and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with CMM and inspection techniques (desirable)
- Strong problem-solving skills (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, DMAIC, etc.)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
