The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established and growing aerospace manufacturing group, is seeking a Technical Quality Engineer (TQA) to join their central quality function. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a global, high-impact role, supporting multiple international sites while working 100% remotely.

You will act as the technical quality expert, driving best practice, supporting audits and approvals, and influencing quality performance across the business.

The Role

  • Act as the go-to technical expert for complex quality and engineering queries
  • Support the rollout and standardisation of APQP across multiple sites
  • Assist in maintaining and achieving NADCAP and customer approvals
  • Conduct internal audits and support audit readiness activities
  • Drive continuous improvement and corrective actions using structured methodologies
  • Provide guidance on GD&T, CMM strategies, and inspection processes
  • Support NPI and transfer of work (ToW) projects
  • Collaborate closely with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Inspection teams globally

About You

  • A strong background in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Experience within a highly regulated environment (ideally aerospace)
  • Hands-on experience with APQP and quality planning tools
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO9001 standards
  • Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Experience with machining, sheet metal, and manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with CMM and inspection techniques (desirable)
  • Strong problem-solving skills (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, DMAIC, etc.)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
