Position: Freelance Temporary Works Coordinator

Location: Edgcott, Buckinghamshire
Duration: 12+ months
Rate: £450/day

Force Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) to join our team for on a significant HS2 bridge construction project which is a key infrastructure development, involving complex temporary works that require meticulous planning, coordination, and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of temporary works design and implementation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and ensure that all temporary works are executed safely and efficiently.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the design team, site management, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of all temporary works activities, including design briefs, method statements, and inspection reports.
• Ensure all temporary works comply with relevant standards.
• Oversee the inspection and approval of temporary works, ensuring all installations meet required safety and quality standards.
• Provide guidance and training to site personnel on temporary works procedures and best practices.

Requirements:

• Temporary Works Coordinator Training (CITB or equivalent) is required.
• Proven experience in temporary works coordination on major civil engineering projects, particularly in bridge construction.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to foresee and mitigate potential issues in temporary works planning and execution.
