Rate: £19 - £29 per hour
About the role:
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accuracy Checking Pharmacist to join our team in Birmingham. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest standards of accuracy in the dispensing of pharmaceutical products, with a focus on cytotoxic drugs and monoclonal antibodies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You will perform accuracy checks on dispensed products. You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will maintain accurate records of all checks performed. You will collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualifications:
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician.
- NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Services.
- Experience in handling cytotoxic drugs and monoclonal antibodies.
- ACT (Accuracy Checking Technician) qualification.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 6 months recent UK NHS hospital experience
- Strong background in hospital pharmacy.
- Excellent team management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
