Aqumen Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in the Bradford area for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer looking for a stable Monday Friday role with a competitive salary, varied work, and long-term career prospects within a fast-paced production environment.
Shift Pattern- 06 30 (1 week in 4)
- 08 30 (2 weeks in 4)
- 13 00 (1 week in 4)
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in keeping production running efficiently by maintaining and improving plant machinery and equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
- Maintaining and modifying machinery to improve reliability and efficiency
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Working with hydraulics and pneumatics systems
- Ensuring all engineering work is completed safely and in line with industry standards
- Providing technical support to production and operations teams
- Assisting with machinery installations, testing, and commissioning
We re keen to speak with engineers who have:
- A recognised qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive and flexible approach to maintenance engineering
- Welding experience or qualifications
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles
- Competitive starting salary of £40,000
- Increase to £42,000 following successful probation
- Monday to Friday shifts only
