Document Controller
A leading Tier 1 contractor based in the south coast is seeking an experienced Document Controller. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the paramount contractors within the south coast, who has a fantastic pipeline of future works on the books. This Document Controller role will play a key part amongst one of their biggest schemes based in Hampshire.
About the role of Document Controller
The tier 1 contractor traditionally specialises in high spec commercial projects including, education, healthcare, MOD & industrial new builds traditionally valuing between £50M - £300M. Operating across Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and Surrey for private and framework clients. The role of Document Controller will originally oversee one immediate project, based out of their head office in Hampshire.
Responsibilities for Document Controller
- Maintain the document control filing and archiving in accordance with the company procedures.
- Record the documents in the company database, organise the dispatch, collect the comments.
- Ensure all design documentation meets approved guidelines, whilst liaising and supporting site teams with the roll out of the latest issue of design documentation.
Requirements for Document Controller
- 1-2 years’ experience within the construction industry is required.
- Previous experience using A-site, View Point or Dalux is preferred.
- Organised and proactive nature and attitude
