Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Onsite Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for desktop and laptop support, imaging, hardware installation, and general technical assistance within a fast-paced environment. This role requires both technical ability and strong interpersonal skills, as the engineer will work closely with internal teams and interact with customers regularly.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop systems
  • Perform laptop diagnostics, repairs, and hardware fixes
  • Carry out device imaging and software/application installations
  • Install and remove office hardware and peripherals as required
  • Provide technical support for end users and internal staff
  • Assist with server and network-related tasks where necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and equipment handled
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Participate in on-site and off-site support activities as required


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Vetting clearance eligibility
  • Experience with desktop building and configuration
  • Laptop repair and troubleshooting skills
  • Imaging and application installation experience
  • Office moves and physical IT hardware installation/removal
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment


Desirable Skills

  • Airwave knowledge
  • PND experience
  • MFD support knowledge
  • Server and network minor troubleshooting knowledge
  • ADI/Groups administration knowledge
