Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Onsite Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for desktop and laptop support, imaging, hardware installation, and general technical assistance within a fast-paced environment. This role requires both technical ability and strong interpersonal skills, as the engineer will work closely with internal teams and interact with customers regularly.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop systems
- Perform laptop diagnostics, repairs, and hardware fixes
- Carry out device imaging and software/application installations
- Install and remove office hardware and peripherals as required
- Provide technical support for end users and internal staff
- Assist with server and network-related tasks where necessary
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and equipment handled
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service delivery
- Participate in on-site and off-site support activities as required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Vetting clearance eligibility
- Experience with desktop building and configuration
- Laptop repair and troubleshooting skills
- Imaging and application installation experience
- Office moves and physical IT hardware installation/removal
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Desirable Skills
- Airwave knowledge
- PND experience
- MFD support knowledge
- Server and network minor troubleshooting knowledge
- ADI/Groups administration knowledge
