HV Technician Field Based
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a HV Technician, you will be responsible for wiring, installing, and testing HV systems across various industrial and utility projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and terminate HV cables and control wiring on 33kV+ systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings.
- Work with switchgear, transformers, and protection panels.
- Carry out testing and commissioning alongside engineering teams.
- Maintain compliance with HSE standards and electrical safety regulations.
- Complete job documentation and site reports.
- Experience working on high voltage networks.
- Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, C&G 2365/2357).
- Experience in substations and HV environments.
- Strong knowledge of control, protection, and HV equipment.
- Full UK driving licence.
