Cad Designer

The Company Our client is an expanding and competitive designer, developer and manufacturer of high-volume products. Due to an exciting period of expansion and investment they now have a new permanent position for a CAD Designer. The Role * To work as part of a small CAD team, ensuring the production team have all the information needed to fulfil customer orders. * Review client design drawings. * Develop an understating of client needs and requirements. * Liaise with clients on technical and design issues. * Ensure request for information forms are sent to clients. * Provide accurate, detailed and to scale manufacturing drawings for clients. * Ensure drawings are compliant with industry and health and safety standards. * Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to validate design information. * Serve as the link of communication between clients and internal stakeholders. * Maintain accurate records. The Person * Applicants must be an active team player, highly motivated, and able to work within a fast-paced, project driven environment. * Problem solving and analytical skills form an integral part of the desired candidate’s attributes. * Degree in a Mechanical/Design field is essential. * Experience using AutoCAD and Inventor (or similar 3d package). * You will have experience of working with cross functional teams.
