Multi-Skilled Engineer - Peterborough
Shift: Monday to Friday
Salary: 49,000 - 51,000
Are you a Multi-skilled Engineer or Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer looking for your next move in engineering?
We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a busy FMCG manufacturing site. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias to join a fast-paced production environment.
You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and supporting machinery modifications to keep production running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out PPMs across production machinery and site equipment
Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime
Supporting machinery modifications and improvement projects
Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
Working closely with production and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
Mechanical or electrical bias
Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
Previous experience within FMCG or manufacturing environments
Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
Reliable team player with good communication skills
